Vasilias Beach

Vasilias in Greek means "king" and the legend says this beach took it name in Byzantine times when the emperors use to prefer that place for relaxation. Today, however, you don't have to be king to live "royal" moments in Vasilias beach...

The magnificent landscape of the area is separated from the road with a small hill that stops a few steps from the sea while pine trees fill the scene and make Vasilias beach looks like a hidden beach.

Despite seeming desolate, the location has all types of touristic businesses, watersports, restaurants with good food and accommodation with magic sea view. The beach is awarded with blue flag.

It's about 1.5 km from Skiathos town and if you do not have your own vehicle, access can be done either by taxi or bus (but stop 8 and 9). In case you want to walk that distance, it will take about 30 minutes among a scenery rich in natural beauty.

If you are looking for a beach that combines tranquility and beauty, then Vasilias beach is your place...
